Privacy
The short version: we only collect what we need to send you the kit, the emails you asked for and, if you buy it, the course. We don't sell or share your data, and we don't use tracking or advertising cookies.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you ask for the free kit or join the course.
- A record of your consent: the date and time, the wording you agreed to, your IP address and your browser type. Canadian anti-spam law (CASL) asks us to be able to show that you agreed to receive our emails.
- A log of the emails we send you (which email and when), so we don't send the same one twice.
- If you buy the course: your email and the date you got access. Payments are handled by our payment provider; we never see or store your card details.
Why we use it
- To send you the free kit and the short series of emails described when you signed up, then occasional updates.
- To give you access to the course and send you login links.
- To answer you when you write to us.
Cookies
We use one cookie: a session cookie that keeps you logged in and protects our forms. It disappears when you close your browser. No analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
Where it's stored and for how long
Your data is stored in our database with our web host, Hostinger. We keep your email while you're subscribed or have course access. If you unsubscribe, we stop emailing you immediately and keep only the record that you unsubscribed and your original consent, as the law asks. Ask us to delete everything and we will, unless we must keep a record by law (for example, of a purchase).
Who we share it with
No one, except the services we need to run this: our web host and email server (Hostinger) and, once you buy, our payment provider. We never sell your data.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, correct it or delete it, at any time: email hello@ummahwahidah.com. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
